ENGLEWOOD, CO – January 28, 2022 – Zweig Group has announced the 2022 ElevateHER™ cohort, a special task force comprised of individuals with a commitment to promote diversity as a means to combat recruiting and retention challenges in the architectural, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry. CORE Consultants is honored to have Chris Haas, Principal, and Lauren Kirschbaum, Project Engineer as participants in this year’s cohort.
ElevateHER™ ensures underrepresented demographics find success in the AEC industry by serving as an advisor and a hub of information and resources. The previous two cohorts worked as different project teams, each concentrating on a particular challenge or focus area to provide an end product or strategy that can make a measurable impact on the AEC industry. The 2022 cohort will focus on continuing these projects as well as some new ideas and initiatives.
Lack of diversity and inclusion is a big problem in the AEC industry. “CORE supports ElevateHER because we believe in the mission so passionately, and we enjoy being part of the solution,” said Heather Calvert, the firm’s COO and member of the 2021 ElevateHER cohort. “We are thrilled to continue our good work with Chris and Lauren in 2022.”
